Gymnastics practice for kids 8–16
The same day one as every sport on Homefield: a week built for your child’s age, a rest day the app will not remove, a timer, and a log in your own words.
No payment details. The Player Card is optional and does not unlock practice.

Mat — and a phone, for the timer and the log.
What a session looks like
The same for every sport on Homefield.
- Today. The day’s session: 30, 45 or 60 minutes, your choice.
- The timer. The drills for that day, and your own additions.
- The log. In your own words. Nothing scores it.
What age does to this week
Age caps the load. Level sets the complexity.
For Gymnastics, the app applies American Academy of Pediatrics clinical report: Sports Specialization and Intensive Training in Young Athletes (Brenner, Pediatrics 2016). It caps training days a week by age; this week has five.
- Ages 8–9: up to 5 training daysThis week is within it.
- Ages 10–12: up to 5 training daysThis week is within it.
- Ages 13–16: up to 5 training daysThis week is within it.
What the Player Card checks
Optional, and skipping it never locks practice. It takes 5–11 minutes. One camera session per fortnight, per household, and the camera never opens during an ordinary practice.
No Player Card check is written for Gymnastics yet. Nothing about practice waits for one.
Start with this week, not with a test.
The Player Card takes 5–11 minutes, and skipping it never locks practice.
